Greetings, Members!
The Weinlesefest is behind us. Unfortunately, it was not a sellout, but that left lots of room to dance for those of us who were there.
The Membership Meeting will take place on Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m. If you have suggestions or concerns, this is the time to present them. Please be prepared to show your membership card when you come. If you do not yet have your 2008 card, please call Käthe Pfeffer right away to make arrangements to purchase it, as the 2007 card has expired.
A reminder that the Children’s Christmas Party will be held on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Please call Ursula Hoffmann at 905-664-4916 for the details. A donation of a cake or cookies for children “young and old” would be appreciated.
Our choir invites you to their Christmas Concert on December 16th. Doors open at 1:45 p.m. and the concert will begin at 3:00. A donation at the door would be greatly appreciated, and coffee and cake will be available for sale as usual.
New Years Eve tickets are now available for sale. Please call Anneliese Höpp at 905-634-8918 right away to get yours, as they are selling fast.
Good News! We have ten (yes, ten!) new members to announce. We wish them lots of fun at our club; most of them have been coming regularly to our dances.

Sadly, one of our members has passed away. Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of the late Mr. Josef Wolfrath. He will be much missed by our club.

Our choir practices every Monday at 7:30 p.m. New members would be most welcome. If you would like to join, please call Fred Huber at 905-337-2991 for details.
The Ladies’ Auxiliary will not meet on November 28th. The next meeting will be on January 30th 2008, at 1:00 p.m. Please call Helga Schopf at 905-664-6254 should you have any questions or would like to join.

As usual, there will also be a Midnight Buffet.
Käthe Pfeffer would like to invite you to attend the Christmas Bazaar in Kitchener on December 6th. Transportation only, by bus, $25.00 per person. You can reach her at 905-389-1070 to reserve your seat.
A reminder that we are still looking for a cook. If you are interested, or know of anyone who might be, please call our president, Arno Risse at 905-528-5245. This is a paid position.
